Errata
I've written poetry, horror, straight fiction, non-fiction, humour, and fantasy. My first published novel, Babylon Steel, came out from Solaris in January 2012.
I never expected that I would write about someone who runs a brothel; about sex and sexuality in a fantasy setting. Heavens, I wasn't even brought up to think about such things in any setting. But there. There's probably some apt saying about this, and if I ever find it, I shall quote it.
I'm a client of literary agent John Jarrold (officially the World's Nicest Agent, not that I'm prejudiced or anything).
With writer and all round cool dudette Sarah Ellender, I run Plot Medics, we run writing workshops and provide other services for writers.
I'm a member of London genre critique group, T Party Writers.
I work for a charity, have a cat, a demanding garden, and a very understanding boyfriend.
